Administrative/Biographical Note

Marvin Mandel was the 56th Governor of Maryland, serving from 1969-1979. He was also a delegate as well as the Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates. Mandel is a member of the Democratic Party and the first Jewish Governor of Maryland.
