Edward L. Bafford (1902-1981), a Baltimore printer and photographer, long-serving member and supporter of the Baltimore Camera Club, and educator. Most well-known for his use of the bromoil process. Taught the Bafford School of Photography for the Baltimore Camera Club and, with photographer Charles Emery, offered a photography class on WBAL radio in Baltimore beginning in 1932. The photography book collection in the Albin O. Kuhn Library & Gallery at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) was named in Bafford's honor in 1975.
