John Price Bell (d. 1995) was a public relations executive and consultant, the son of the journalist Edward Price Bell, and husband of Gloria Oden, a notable poet and UMBC English professor. Edward Price Bell (1869-1943) was a respected journalist who worked for the Chicago Record and the Chicago Daily News, promoting international understanding and cooperation. He was the first journalist nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, for his work leading to the London Naval Conference and Treaty in 1930.
