As such, the war had a noticeable impact on the content of the zines. This included political commentary through essays, short stories featuring themes of war, and personal accounts of how the war affected contributors of the zines. The following section will explore these topics further in the form of&nbsp;digital stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Imagination!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Imagination!<\/em>&nbsp;featured political commentary on the state of the conflict and discussed the role of the science fiction fandom leading up to WWII.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Imagination! and its Political Commentary\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zodb1JhdqTQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Imagination! and its Political Commentary by Marzuq Hakim<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Futurian War Digest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">J.
