The attached caption reads, &#8220;The disputed fingerprints of Walter and Margery&#8217;s dentist.&#8221; During a sitting, &#8220;Walter&#8221; was said to produce a fingerprint (shown on the left) in dental wax. However, in 1935, the American Society for Psychical Research announced that the resulting fingerprint was a near-identical match to that of Crandon&#8217;s dentist (shown on the right), who had been present during the sitting.
