This research tested the hypothesis that a &#8220;cold spot&#8221; was responsible for the <a href=\"https:\/\/library.umbc.edu\/specialcollections\/garrett\/hauntings\/borley-rectory\/\">Borley Rectory hauntings<\/a>. The data shows temperatures taken between 1 to 3 A.M. by a thermometer in the air and a thermometer placed on wood. The temperatures appear to decrease at a similar rate until halfway through, the temperature on the wood seems to start levelling out.
