His research and writing focused on the civil rights movement. His book, &#8220;The Civil Rights Era,&#8221; was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. At UMBC he served as president of the faculty senate from 1980-1981 and as Dean of Graduate Studies from 1982-1985.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"scope\">Scope &#038; Content<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Collection is unprocessed and loosely organized by material type.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"provenance\">Provenance Information<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contains two accessions donated by Graham: UARC Pre 1988-01 (accession date unknown) and UARC 1998-01.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Collection unprocessed.
