In addition the CBSA will encourage research, scholarship, and publication of writings on the history, policy implications, and social and cultural impact of the biological sciences. These collections include materials related to the history of psychical research and parapsychology, as well as mediumship, apparitions, hauntings, poltergeists, near-death and out-of-body experiences, and experimental research on extrasensory perception (ESP), psychokinesis, and precognition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Photography Historical Manuscripts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Papers and records collections that relate to the history of photography.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/library.umbc.edu\/speccoll\/findingaids\/index.php\">Browse finding aids&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Folklife Collections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Housed in Special Collections at the Albin O. Kuhn Library and Gallery since 2014, the Maryland Traditions Archives (MTA) is a partnership with Maryland Traditions, the state folklife program of the Maryland State Arts Council.
