Consideration of the site went as far as making a Diagrammatic Scheme as a \u201cProposal for Downtown Campus for University of Maryland Implementation Through Urban Renewal Program.\u201d Albin Kuhn did not favor the location, primarily because land for further expansion would have been difficult and expensive to acquire.
