About the Exhibition

The Eileen J. Garrett Parapsychology Foundation Collection was acquired by UMBC’s Albin O. Kuhn Library & Gallery Special Collections in 2022. This collection, compiled by the Parapsychology Foundation, includes over 12,000 books, more than 100 periodicals, and other unique artifacts about a wide range of supernatural occurrences.

Founded in 1951 by parapsychologist and medium Eileen J. Garrett and congressional representative Hon. Frances P. Bolton, the Parapsychology Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the impartial scientific study of psychic phenomena.
