The Polaroid, also known as the Land Camera after its creator Edwin Land, developed the photograph just minutes after exposure. This camera was similar to the original Polaroid—the Polaroid 95—that came out in 1948, but came with an uncoupled rangefinder. The instant photograph appealed to the masses and proved to be one of the most popular cameras of its time.
