This camera was a smaller box camera. Kodak gradually updated the Brownies, replacing cardboard and wood with metal, and including more features for photographers.
This Brownie Junior had an all metal front, aperture settings, and a viewfinder. The first Brownies had no viewfinder—just lines positioned to help the photographer aim the camera. Later, Kodak offered clip-on viewfinders that allowed photographers to see the subject.
