Voigtlander Bergheil Deluxe c.1932-1936

Advertised as “Tourists,” photographers considered Voigtlander Bergheil cameras high quality folding plate cameras. This one had a Compur shutter—a popular leaf shutter. Leaf shutters offered quicker speeds than focal plane shutters. They had overlapping mechanical metal blades that spiraled open when activated.
