Nikon F Photomic Tn c.1967

The Nikon F revolutionized photography, introducing Japan as a leader in camera technology and sales, and forcing Europe and the U.S to make similar technological advancements. Nikon updated the 35mm SLR (Single-Lens Reflex) camera with interchangeable, custom accessories. This specific camera, the “Photomic” Tn, included a CdS (Cadmium Sulfide powered) light meter—which measured light more effectively than other chemical light meters.
