Paul Zurkowski was heavily involved with the Information Industry Association (now called the Software and Information Industry Association) and served as president of the Association during the 1970s.
Former UMBC History professor Colin Brad Burke encouraged Special Collections to accept Paul Zurkowski's papers in 2001.
