Administrative/Biographical Note
France-TV was an award winning news magazine video program produced by the Modern Languages department at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in partnership with France 2. The project was led by UMBC professor Dr. Claud DuVerlie with program assistance from Dr. Marie DeVerneil. UMBC students helped with the production of the show, which aimed to serve not only as coverage of current events in France but also as a method for teaching the French language to English speakers.
Provenance Information
Accessions UARC 2015-17 and UARC 2015-25 sent by UMBC professor Dr. Marie DeVerneil. DeVerneil, a producer and collaborator on France-TV, stored the materials in her office in Academic IV.
