Administrative/Biographical Note

Argersinger earned her B.A. in History at UMBC and also worked as an administrator there for 15 years, including a 4-year term as provost. Since 1998 she has been a professor of history at Southern Illinois University. She has expertise in U.S. Labor History and has written numerous books on the topic.
