Administrative/Biographical Note

The Ethnomusicology program at UMBC was a part of the Department of Music, offering M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. The program was eliminated at UMBC in 1994 by the Board of Regents as a cost saving measure; the last graduate class offered as part of the Ethnomusicology graduate program was Spring 1998.
