Administrative/Biographical Note
A. Bertram Chandler was a British-Australian author of science fiction. His pseudonyms included George Whitely, George Whitley, Andrew Dunstan, and S. H. M. Chandler wrote 200 pieces of short fiction and over 40 novels. He also won the Ditmar Awards for one of his short stories and three of his novels, including “The Big Black Mark” (which was published in 1976).
