Abstract:Collection consists of one photocopy of the typescript “Lifeboat,” written by Gordon R. Dickson and Harry Harrison. The manuscript bears corrections, and is 278 pages (72,000 words). The manuscript is undated but notes on the first page mention a due date of the summer of 1974.

Administrative/Biographical Note

Gordon Rupert Dickson (1923-2001) was a Canadian-American author of science fiction. In 2000 he was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame, and he has won three Hugo awards as well as one Nebula award. Dickson’s most famous works are the “Childe Cycle” and “Dragon Knight series.”
