Administrative/Biographical Note
Raymond Z. Gallun (1911-1994) was a science fiction writer from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He helped to popularize the genre of sci-fi pulp, and used the pen names Arthur Allport, Dow Elstar, E. V. Raymond, and William Callahan. He won the I-CON Lifetime Achievement Award in 1985, and the award was later renamed for him.
