Founded in 1903 as the American Breeders Association, the American Genetic Association is the oldest professional society devoted to the study of heredity.
Materials are unprocessed.
Boxes were donated in Summer 2008. Additional print journals were acquired in 2009.
Collection unprocessed. During rehousing of the material in 2008, stinkbugs were located in the files. The boxes were sent for freezing and vacuuming and were returned in Spring 2009. Special Collections staff vacuumed and refoldered the materials.
