The AOK Library is now fully open. More can be found at myUMBC.
Collection was donated in multiple parts from the Baltimore Sun. A selection of UMBC-related
prints were purchased by the Library in 2014.
Baltimore Sun Digital Image Fortress service. Accessed November 19, 2015.
Collection is unprocessed. The photo prints were arranged in 2006-2007 by Special
Collections students under supervision of Archivist Marcia Peri; photos of people
were arranged alphabetically and the remaining prints were sorted by subject. A folder
list is available. The negatives and transparencies (1983-1987) are stored in the
original file cabinets; depending on the year, they are arranged by date or by the
last name of the photographer. Most of the sports related negatives have been separated
out into one filing cabinet. Photographers logs are available for 1983-1986.
