Established in 1991 as the Women's Union, the Women's Center at UMBC works to advance
gender equality and promote critical social justice in the community through programming,
workshops, and education.

Accessions UARC 2011-019, UARC 2012-003, and UARC 2015-03 transferred from the Women's
Center. Accession UARC 2015-04 was donated by Suzanna Merritt, former UMBC employee
and the first dedicated staff member of the Women's Center.
Collection unprocessed. Digital files from UARC 2015-13 has been transferred to Library
storage. A list of files included in UARC 2012-003 is available.
