Administrative/Biographical Note
The Kuhns are the family of Dr. Albin O. Kuhn, the founding chancellor of the University
of Maryland, Baltimore County. Dr. Kuhn served as the chancellor of UMBC from 1965-1972.

Arrangement
Arranged in 10 sections: Family events and pictures. UMBC - Introduction. UMBC - Legal
basis and site selection. UMBC - Preparing the site and creating the campus environment.
UMBC - Our freshman year 1966-1967. UMBC - On to the first graduation. My last two
years as chancellor of two Baltimore campuses. 30th wedding anniversary party 1968.

Provenance and Acquisition Information
Donated by Albin O. Kuhn, through former Library Director Larry Wilt, in 2006. A second
copy was transferred from the Library Administration office in 2013.
